Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Associate III to join our team in Champaign, IL.

This role supports interdisciplinary teams designing and delivering projects across market sectors, with a focus on growth through the AXP experience and licensing progress. You will contribute to proposals, design development, and construction documentation, collaborating with architects and engineers to produce coordinated drawings, specs, and submittals while advancing your career with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 5–8 years of work experience in an architectural office.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficient use of Revit required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks preferred.
• Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiencies in design and graphics software.

Responsibilities

• Assists the client/project manager with the development of project proposals, cost and scope.
• Prepares design and construction documents using the appropriate standards and works directly with consultants.
• Assists project managers with construction administration tasks such as attending OAC meetings, writing reports, taking minutes, reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Exercises independent judgment, coordinating decision making with the project lead.
• Works as part of a team including communication and coordination with team members in architecture and other disciplines.
