Farnsworth Group in Champaign, IL is seeking an Architectural Associate at entry level. You will support the design team, visit sites, and help prepare construction documents under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) with 0–2 years of experience and proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and Lumion. This role offers a hybrid work program and opportunities for ARE exam progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required from an accredited university.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Proficient use of Revit; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and motivation to learn and be curious about design.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
• Interest in completing the ARE exams.

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites to review and document existing conditions.
• Supports preparation of design ideas, concepts, and solutions as an integral design team member.
• Provides design support for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Assists in preparing client presentation materials using design applications and creativity.
• Organizes tasks and self-checks work for accuracy and document compliance.
• Keeps open communication within team and with project managers.
• Assists with coordination among partners and consultants.
