Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Architectural Associate – Entry Level in Champaign, Illinois. You will assist Project Managers by completing design solutions and developing construction documents using a variety of graphics software, with a path toward NCARB AXP experience.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Architecture (Master’s preferred) and 0–2 years of experience. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, and Lumion is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required; Master’s preferred and from an accredited university.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Proficient use of Revit.
• Interest in ARE exams and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites to review and document existing conditions.
• Support preparation of design ideas and solutions as part of the design team.
• Provide design support for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Assist in preparing client presentation materials.
• Maintain organized, timely, and consistent work with project documentation.
• Support project teams and maintain open communication with managers.
• Assist coordination among partners and consultants.
