Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Architectural Associate III to join our interdisciplinary design team in Phoenix. You will participate in projects across market sectors and gain a well-rounded AXP experience in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes design excellence, coordination with consultants, and construction documentation. A Bachelor's in Architecture, 5–8 years of office experience, and Revit proficiency are expected; LEED and other software skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, required; degree must be from an accredited university.
• 5-8 years of work experience in an architectural office.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficient use of Revit required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks, preferred.
• Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong proficiencies in design and graphics software.

Responsibilities

• Assists the client/project manager with the development of project proposals, cost and scope.
• Prepares design and construction documents using the appropriate standards and works directly with consultants. Understands the relationship between drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
• Assists project managers with construction administration tasks: attending OAC meetings, writing reports, taking minutes, reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Exercises independent judgment, coordinating decision making with the project lead.
• Works as part of a team including communication and coordination with team members in architecture and other disciplines.
