JAKLITSCH / GARDNER ARCHITECTS is seeking a full-time Architect with 6-8 years of post-graduate experience to lead projects from conception through implementation. You will collaborate closely with principals on high-profile assignments, guiding design development, documentation, and coordination with consultants to meet ambitious goals.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Solid construction document experience with detailing.
• Technical intelligence with regard to building systems.
• Excellent leadership ability and high level written and verbal communication skills.
• Critically thoughtful, conceptually based, and process-oriented design ability.
• Desire to be involved and contribute to all aspects of a project in all phases.
• Collaborative yet self-directed; highly motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
• Experience across all project phases, including:
• Project documentation
• Agency approvals
• Drawing coordination with consultants and specification production
• Construction Administration
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Software, and Rhino
• BIM Project Management
• Sustainable & Resilient project design.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working closely with both principals while managing projects from initial conception through implementation.
