Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking an experienced architect to perform all phases of architectural work from concept through construction administration. The role offers a hybrid schedule and opportunity to work on K-12, higher education, public agencies and private sector projects across the United States.

Requirements include a professional architecture license, 3-5 years’ design experience, and proficiency with CAD tools (Revit/SketchUp/AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 3-5 years of architectural design experience.
• Professional Architect License.
• Proficient with CAD software such as Revit, SketchUp or AutoCAD.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Perform analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts.
• Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
• Create reports and specifications.
• Review completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations.
