Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking an Architect to lead design work from concept through construction administration in a collaborative, hybrid office environment.

The role requires a professional license and strong proficiency with BIM and design tools. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and 3–5 years of design experience, with exposure to education, transportation or community projects.

Position Summary

Responsible for performing all phases of architectural work from conceptual design through construction administration.

Compensation for this position is $90,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. We notice that we receive a wide variety of applicants and recognize that the person selected may be less experienced or more experienced. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Required Skills

Working Conditions

At JMT, we prioritize a healthy work/life balance and offer a flexible hybrid working schedule. The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least four days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. However, there may be on-site tasks that will require walking on uneven surfaces and possibly climbing stairs and/or ladders. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
