Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a 5-year degree in architecture from an accredited university.
• 3-7 years of experience in an established architecture firm.
• Must have Architectural License.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Architecture, Trimble Sketchup, Enscape, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• LEED certification is a plus.
• Experience in K-12 and healthcare architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design: Preparing initial sketches, drafting design plans, and working with clients and stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs.
• Construction Documents: Producing complete, detailed and thorough construction documents, such as floor plans and elevations.
• Construction Administration: Administering the construction phase of the process, including shop drawing and submittal review, site observation and reporting.
• Coordination: Coordinating the needs of the client with the work of designers, technical staff, and consultants.
• Communication: Communicating with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to keep them updated on the project's progress.
• Quality Control: Maintaining quality control by checking construction documents, shop drawings, submittals and other project documents.
