Job summary

MRB Group is seeking an Architect to join our Temple, TX team. You will support an architectural group on municipal and private-sector projects, delivering design concepts, drawings, and construction documents.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years post-licensure experience and 5–8 years total with strong Revit/SketchUp skills, knowledge of codes, and excellent communication. This role offers a hybrid work model and growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 2-5 years of post-licensure professional experience in architecture, preferably with municipal clients and private sector developers.
• 5-8 years of total proven professional experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and other design and drafting software.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and municipal regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Passion for design and eagerness to grow in the architecture field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural design concepts and drawings.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for coordination and alignment.
• Support project documentation, zoning, permitting, and code compliance.
• Contribute to site analysis and coordination with engineers and other disciplines.
