Job summary
Hiscox is seeking a Solution Architect to design and govern end-to-end digital experience and API solutions for the US market. The role requires collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure architectures that align with enterprise standards.
The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in UX/CX, API development, and insurance technology, and thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment with two days in office.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of UX/CX tooling, patterns and testing methodologies.
- Experience with Core Insurance Platforms.
- Experienced in an Agile software development environment.
Responsibilities
- Interact with a range of people, from engineers to senior executives.
- Own architecture strategy/design for a complex program and communicate to the project team.
- Document architectural artifacts and defend before Architecture Review Board.
- Work with technical and business teams to ensure artifacts match current implementations.
- Engage with business domain experts to translate domain language and concepts.
- Assist technical teams in delivering the solution using AI and UX tooling.
