Gensler in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Architect to translate sketches into 2D/3D models and guide design through construction documentation. You will apply Revit skills, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality documentation from concept to build.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5–10 years of related experience across various project types.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver informed project solutions.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety).
• Coordinate with project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Resolve complex technical/design issues to produce innovative, constructible solutions.
• Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure documents deliver design intent and high technical quality.
• Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and respond to RFIs.
• Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting/construction.
• Participate in financial performance of the project.
• Review proposals and contracts with the Design Manager.
• Establish and maintain productive client relationships.
