Job description

We are searching for an Architect and Project Manager to join our growing team! This is a special opportunity for a licensed architect to use their experience to lead a team and lead projects. Experience in K-12 and higher education work is highly preferred.

This key staff member will be a part of our leadership team, helping us create and contribute to long-range plans and objectives, and establish and meet goals. They will also manage quality control within the firm as a whole. After a period of time, we expect this teammate may also help to expand our presence in one of the project markets above and potentially lead a studio within the firm. This teammate will be excited to work and communicate with clients, manage budgets, schedules, and consultant teams, and lead project design. Travel within the state will be expected, with little out-of-state expected at this time.

This position will be based in our Lexington office.

Ideal candidates will already have:

• At least eight years of project management experience
• At least five years of leading a team or managing designers
• At least eight years of successfully developing solutions and producing through all phases of design
• At least six years of licensure
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration
• Solid foundation of technical knowledge
