A leading architecture firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Architect to join their team, focusing on historic commercial restoration projects. The role involves design oversight, project management, and collaboration with outside consultants. Candidates must hold an accredited degree in Architecture and have relevant experience. Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience for BArch candidates or 2-4 years for MArch candidates.
• Strong background in various architecture-related fields.
• Experience working with outside consultants and contractors.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design internal projects while overseeing outside architects and design consultants.
• Track and streamline the architectural design process.
• Prepare renderings, plans, elevations, sections, and details.

A terrific, full-time opening has come available for an Architect with experience in the historic commercial restoration construction arena to join a cutting edge, extremely stable organization. This position would earn a competitive base salary plus bonus, and a great benefits package including competitive insurance plans, paid vacation, sick pay, and other outstanding perks. This position is located in the beautiful Sunset park area of Brooklyn.

• Design internal projects while overseeing outside architects and design consultants
• Track and streamline the architectural design process
• Programming, planning, and designing specific projects
• Prepare renderings, plans, elevations, sections, and details.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have a BArch with 5 – 10 years Architecture design exp or MArch with 2-4 years Architecture design exp.
• Project manager experience working with outside consultants and contractors
• Strong background in architecture, landscape architecture, signage, wayfinding, lighting, streetscape improvement, environmental graphic, and interior design projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, & 3D modeling software.
