Job summary

University of Utah seeks a Space Utilization and Planning Analyst III-IV to manage Archibus, perform data-driven space utilization analysis, and drive planning initiatives across campus. You will develop space plans, maintain inventories, and collaborate with stakeholders to support renovations, relocations, and new construction projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) with extensive related experience or a master’s with substantial related experience, and expertise in AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalency) with 6 years of directly related work experience, or a master’s degree (or equivalency) with 4 years.
• Experience with Archibus or comparable facilities management platform preferred.
• Experience in space planning, utilization analysis, facilities data management, and institutional reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform data driven space utilization analysis, planning, and operational support to advance the university’s academic, research, and administrative missions.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze space inventory, occupancy, and utilization data to support planning and reporting.
• Develop space plans, layouts, visualizations, and recommendations using tools such as AutoCAD, Archibus, GIS, and related space planning software.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess space needs and support renovation, relocation, and new construction projects.
