University of Utah seeks a Space Utilization and Planning Analyst III-IV to manage Archibus, perform data-driven space utilization analysis, and drive planning initiatives across campus. The Space Planning Analyst is responsible for the administration,maintenance, and continuous improvement of the University'sArchibus platform in support of institutional space planning,facilities management, occupancy management, and strategicdecision-making. The position serves as the primary steward of theUniversity's facilities and space information systems, ensuring theaccuracy, integrity, and availability of space inventory, floorplans, occupancy records, organizational assignments, and relatedfacilities data. Working collaboratively with Academic Affairs,University Health, Facilities, Information Technology, and othercampus stakeholders, this position supports space utilizationanalysis, capital planning, asset management, institutionalreporting, and long-range space planning initiatives. The incumbentdevelops reports, dashboards, and data visualizations; administerssystem configuration and business processes; conducts data audits;and provides technical expertise to support effective spacemanagement practices across the University. The position serves asthe University's functional expert for Archibus, leading systemenhancements, workflow improvements, data governance efforts, andintegration activities that support operational efficiency,regulatory reporting, strategic planning, and evidence-baseddecision-making. The role exercises independent judgment inidentifying opportunities to improve space management processes,enhance data quality, and advance the University's facilitiesplanning capabilities.

This position may be filled at either the Space Utilization &Planning Analyst III or Space Utilization & Planning Analyst IV level. Placement will be based on the selected candidate'squalifications, experience, skills, and demonstratedcompetencies.
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher educationcan be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience(Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related workexperience).

Preferred qualifications include experience administering Archibusor a comparable facilities management platform; expertise in spaceplanning, utilization analysis, facilities data management, andinstitutional reporting; proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Tableau,AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or GIS technologies; experience leadingenterprise system enhancements and process improvement initiatives;and experience working within a large, complex higher education,healthcare, or research environment. A master's degree in a relatedfield is preferred.
