Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Altoona, IA is seeking a part-time Sales Outfitter to assist customers at the hunting/archery floor with non-firearms merchandise. You will greet customers, recommend products, process purchases and maintain the sales floor with accurate signage and stock.

Key duties include delivering friendly service, staying knowledgeable about products, and supporting club promotions and in-store pickup. Prior retail experience is preferred, with ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms)
• GCA
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Identifying and evaluating customers' needs and making product recommendations.
• Promoting programs including CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
• Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the retail Store for Sales at Gun Counter non-Firearms.
• Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
