Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking an enthusiastic cook to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals for Kupuna. The role supports kitchen and dining operations, ensuring meal quality and adherence to special diets.

The cook will also breakdown and sanitize food service locations and equipment, maintaining high sanitation standards. Ideal candidates are high school graduates with knowledge of menu planning, kitchen safety, and sanitation.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, preparation methods, and inspection of food items.
  • Knowledge of principles of kitchen management, sanitation, safety, and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all activities in the department including kitchen and dining areas.
  • Responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service provided, and compliance with special diets for our Kupuna.

1 Part-time position 5:00am-10:30am (Sun, Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat). >1 Casual position. Sunday 8hr shift. Tuesday & Wednesday 4hr shift. More shifts available if flexible.
