Job summary

Boxcar Bar + Arcade in Durham, NC, is seeking Floor Staff. You are the first face guests see, greet warmly, check IDs, and help keep the arcade and bar safe, clean, and fun.

You’ll coordinate with bar and security, handle minor game issues, buss tables, and assist with opening or closing duties to get the building ready. Must be 21+, able to stand for 8 hours, lift 40 lbs, and be flexible for weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• ServSafe Alcohol certification is a plus.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the gatekeeper: greet guests, check IDs, enforce alcohol laws.
• Protect the vibe by monitoring floor and coordinating with bar/security.
• Help guests with minor game issues on arcade machines.
• Bus glassware and pizza trays; keep floor clean and safe.
• Assist with opening or closing duties to prep the venue.
