Job summary

Boxcar Bar + Arcade in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our venues safe, clean, and welcoming while keeping the party going. Our team values personality and teamwork in a lively arcade environment.

You’ll perform repairs across trades, conduct daily inspections, respond to emergencies (nights/weekends), manage space upkeep and supplies, and support events at multiple locations. This role rewards reliability and hands-on skills in a dynamic, fun setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and trades.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (fire, life safety, OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Fix it all: repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and welding.
• Patrol the perimeter with daily facility inspections (interior and exterior).
• Be the on-call hero and respond to emergencies, nights and weekends.
• Beautify the space by managing landscaping, trash, janitorial tasks, and event decorations.
• Manage purchases, inventory, and records of repairs and warranties.
• Hit the road to assist Boxcar locations and storage units.
