Brady Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced electrical engineer to perform on-site arc flash risk assessments, power system studies, and infrared thermography across diverse industries. You will gather data, evaluate diagrams, and prepare engineering study proposals for project kickoff and close-out.

With 5+ years in electrical engineering and proficiency in SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD, and MS Office, you will train customers, generate reports, and coordinate travel (50–70%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of practical electrical engineering or field experience.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering or related field experience.
• Understand installed electrical distribution systems and engineering docs.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E and OSHA requirements for arc flash and distribution.
• Self-directed and able to solve problems in the field with no supervision.
• Proficient in SKM PowerTools, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Able to train customers on arc flash principles and site-specific details.
• Able to interface with maintenance, safety, plant engineering and management.
• Experience generating technical reports with recommendations for clients.
• Willing to travel 50–70% US-based, overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical power system studies and infrared thermography for clients.
• Assist sales team and communicate with clients about arc flash services.
• Project manage assigned projects from kickoff to close-out.
• Evaluate documents and gather data to create engineering study proposals.
• Conduct on-site assessments documenting configuration, ratings, lengths, and device info.
• Perform arc flash, short-circuit, and fault current studies.
• Deliver arc flash training for customers and staff.
• Create arc flash reports with labels, diagrams, and recommendations.
• Produce client-ready reports and communicate findings.
