Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services| Monarch Tree Services in Martinez, CA is seeking a skilled tree climber with at least two years of professional climbing experience. You will trim, prune, transplant, and inspect trees, using chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, and pruning tools, while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional tree climbing experience.
• Knowledge of basic tree care principles, cabling, pruning techniques, tree ID and disease ID.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, topping, and reshaping trees.
• Using chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, shears, and clippers to cut away dead and excess branches.
• Transplanting and removing trees and shrubs.
• Splitting logs.
• Operating chipping equipment.
• Inspecting trees for disease or pest problems.
