Jensen Landscape seeks experienced tree climbers in Livermore, CA. You will climb trees over 15’ to trim, prune, and shape, using chainsaws and hand tools, while following rigorous safety practices.

The role requires at least two years of professional tree climbing, the ability to perform strenuous outdoor work, and knowledge of tree health and rigging basics. Pay is competitive with benefits; on-site employment in California.

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional tree climbing experience.
• Able to climb trees over 15’ and work on branches and platforms.
• Physically demanding work with frequent lifting 25–50 lbs.
• Strong safety culture including PPE use and rigging basics.

Responsibilities

• Trim, top, and reshape trees.
• Use chainsaws, hooks, handsaws, and clippers to remove dead branches.
• Transplant and remove trees and shrubs; split logs; operate chipping equipment.
• Inspect trees for disease or pest problems.
