Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Simsbury, CT is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to supervise all arboriculture tasks and lead a tree care crew, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job.

You will train crew members, maintain equipment, and build strong client relationships while upholding company standards and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships on the job site.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
