Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Lancaster, PA to lead a tree care crew and perform arboriculture tasks safely and efficiently. You will train and supervise crews while maintaining equipment and ensuring safety and quality on every job site.

You should have at least three years of tree climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work year-round in varied weather. Bartlett offers growth opportunities and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Three years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising arboriculture tasks including pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervising crews and ensuring training for designated jobs.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure all work complies with industry and company standards.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
  • Pruning
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Rigging

  • Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
