Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Williamsburg, VA seeks an Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew in delivering safe, efficient services. Responsibilities include supervising pruning, cabling, bracing, rigging, removals, and equipment operation, with a focus on client relations and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of tree climbing experience with aerial lift know-how, a valid license, and a strong team mindset.

Qualifications

• At least three years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Operate and maintain equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services.
• Ensure each crew member is trained appropriately for designated jobs.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships.
