Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crew in Greenfield. This full-time, non-exempt position performs tree trimming, bucket work, equipment operation, and safety-focused tasks in all weather conditions.

You will load and unload materials, assist with traffic control, maintain tools, and support training of new employees, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
