Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Wisconsin. You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain tools, load and unload trucks, and help ensure safe work sites.

You may assist in training new employees and perform tree rescues as needed. Qualifications include a HS diploma (or equivalent), no prior experience required, and the ability to work at heights with good hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• High attention to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
