Mercadagro International Corporation – MIC Food Division in Florida seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead a 2-person A/R team. You will oversee invoicing, cash applications, collections, and reporting, and help month-end close with strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years in AR with at least 1 year in supervision, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of A/R systems and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in Englis, Spanish a bonus.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 A/R Specialists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, professional development, and achievement of departmental goals.
• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable operations including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding receivables.
• Monitor aging reports and work with internal teams to address overdue accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end close processes and prepare relevant reports for management.
• Continuously assess and enhance A/R procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our A/R team.
