NEFCO Corp. in the United States is seeking an AR Assistant Manager to partner with the AR Manager in building a scalable, high-performing accounts receivable organization that supports NEFCO's growth.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, operational transformation, or scalability initiatives within Accounting, Finance, or Shared Services.
• Proven ability to assess existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Strong understanding of how people, processes, and technology work together to drive operational performance.
• Experience developing teams through coaching, cross-training, performance management, and employee development.
• Ability to think strategically while translating improvement opportunities into practical, measurable results.
• Experience leveraging ERP systems, automation, and technology to improve productivity and reduce manual work.
• Strong change management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new processes.
• Experience supporting a growing, multi-location, or acquisition-driven organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing billing and sales tax

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the AR Manager to evaluate, redesign, and optimize Accounts Receivable processes to support NEFCO's growth and scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate manual activities, reduce process complexity, and strengthen internal controls.
• Evaluate workflows through a people, process, and technology lens; develop solutions maximizing resources and technology investments.
• Lead initiatives to standardize and document processes, establish best practices, and drive consistency across the AR function.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Technology teams to implement improvements and support business integrations.
• Oversee AR month-end close in collaboration with teams and operations to shorten close timelines and strengthen controls.
