Job summary

Curri in Ventura, CA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own billing-to-cash for a defined book of customer accounts. You will manage invoicing, collections, and reconciliation, partnering with the VP of Finance to keep AR aging clean and DSO trending down.

The role emphasizes proactive communication by phone and email, collaboration with Customer Success and Sales, and improving recurring revenue billing workflows for SaaS/subscription models.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or billing.
• Strong Excel skills to track aging and reconcile balances.
• Highly organized with ability to manage a full book of accounts.
• Comfortable using phone to resolve issues with prompt and professional communication.
• Confident under pressure in a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Own billing-to-cash collection for an assigned book of customer accounts, from invoicing through payment resolution.
• Monitor AR aging balances and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
• Partner with customers to resolve outstanding balances via phone, email, and video as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales to streamline payment processes.
• Support billing operations and improve invoicing workflows for recurring revenue models (SaaS subscriptions and usage-based billing).
• Navigate complex customer billing systems to track and resolve account-level discrepancies.
