Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Three+ years of accounts receivable experience in a manufacturing or project-based setting.
• Knowledge of milestone billing, deposits, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills including XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent organization and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices for equipment, parts, service, and engineering work.
• Partner with project managers and sales to confirm contract terms, milestones, deposits.
• Process credit memos, rebills, and billing adjustments with approvals.
• Apply customer payments by ACH, wire, check, and card; resolve unapplied cash.
• Manage collection activity for past-due accounts via calls and emails.
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger, including deposits and retainage.
• Prepare AR aging, past-due, and DSO reports for division leadership.
• Support doubtful accounts reviews, writes-offs, and AR-related accruals.
• Prepare sales/use tax filings and maintain exemption documentation.
• Provide AR coverage during close periods and system transitions.
