Job summary

AtWork Personnel seeks an Accounting Specialist with a strong AR focus to support our finance team in a fast-paced, manufacturing and inventory-heavy environment in Cincinnati, OH. The role emphasizes accurate invoicing, payment application, collections, and ERP system usage.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in AP/AR, strong AR exposure in manufacturing or similar sectors, and solid Excel skills. On-site schedule with Monday–Friday hours, pay range $20–$30 per hour, temporary full-time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AP/AR or related accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Accounts Receivable experience, ideally within manufacturing, construction, retail, or inventory-heavy business.
• Experience with a moderately complex ERP system; Epicor, SAP, SAGE, or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.
• Monitor past-due balances, prepare aging reports, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer and accounting records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, purchase order/receiver matching, vendor reconciliations, and payments.
• Support basic accounting, reporting, analysis, and month-end activities.
• Participate in the implementation and ongoing use of Epicor ERP.
