Job summary

CBSL Transportation Services, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Pasadena, CA to help keep our billing operation running smoothly.

You’ll prepare and review accurate customer invoices and manage submissions through billing portals, ensuring timely, precise records. You’ll investigate discrepancies, track disputes and credits, and support reporting, audits, and other AR activities while collaborating with Operations, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep cash

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Prior billing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or comparable administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of customer invoicing and supporting documentation.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with transportation, depot, repair, or service billing is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing accurate customer invoices.
• Managing invoice submissions and customer billing portals.
• Researching and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Tracking invoice disputes, credits, rebills, and adjustments.
• Maintaining accurate customer and billing records.
• Reconciling billing and receivable transactions.
• Supporting reporting, audits, and other AR activities.
• Partnering with Operations, customers, and internal teams to solve problems.
