This full-time role involves managing all aspects of accounts receivable including cash receipts processes, verifying account discrepancies, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Competitive salary ranging from $56K to $70K with benefits is offered.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, General Accounting, or Legal Support Staff.
Ability to type at a speed of 60 WPM.
Willingness to work overtime is essential.
Responsibilities
Manage cash receipts application process including application of wires, checks, and credit cards.
Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies.
Verify, code and post current day cash receipts.
Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile to accounting system.
Prepare daily cash reports.
Verify and research account discrepancies.
Assist in resolving client billing issues.
Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
