Vertage Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely payments. The role is based in Sugar Land, TX, with a 4 days onsite and 1 day work-from-home arrangement. The position offers a contract duration of initial 6 months with possible extension.

The AR Specialist will combine collections expertise with proactive problem-solving to accelerate invoice-to-cash conversion and improve working capital performance.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management & collections execution: Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts across aging buckets.
• Proactively contact clients to secure payment on past-due balances via phone and email (emphasis on phone calls).
• Maintain a disciplined call and outreach cadence.
• Negotiate payment commitments and structured payment plans.
• Drive reduction in past due balances.

Salary: USD20 - USD25 per hour
