Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a senior Cash Applications Manager to lead a high-volume cash posting team. You will oversee daily cash application activities, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with Collections, Credit, and Treasury to improve processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 6–8 years of related experience, with SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate AR balances and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 6–8 years related experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash application processes for high-volume transactions and wire transfers to ensure prompt posting.
• Provide leadership and manage daily activities of the department staff.
• Oversee outsourced cash application specialists and ensure proper posting.
• Balance cash daily and support month-end closing with data and reports.
• Review supporting journal entries for accuracy.
• Support A/R confirmations and assist with audits.
• Prepare customer invoicing via email, fax, or mail.
• Assist in internal controls and address control gaps.
