Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee daily cash applications, drive accuracy and efficiency, and lead a team across AR, AP, reconciliations, and GL activities.

The role emphasizes improving end-to-end cash processes, internal controls, and cross-functional partnering with Treasury, Billing, and Finance to deliver timely, accurate cash visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience managing and developing a high performing team.
• Experience in cash applications, AR/AP, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of cash controls and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to lead priorities, meet deadlines, and drive accountability.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and judgment skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cash applications including payments, refunds, and postings.
• Ensure accurate cash recordings per policies and controls.
• Oversee reconciliations, unapplied cash, discrepancies and variances.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Treasury, Billing, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor workflows to identify control gaps and improve processes.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities for cash activity.
• Maintain and improve cash application policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for automation and scalability in cash processes.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to team members.
• Develop knowledge of lines of business, systems, and reporting needs.
