Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners in New York, NY is seeking a qualified coder/biller to support surgical coding and hospital billing. You will review clinical documentation to code and post charges for insurance billing and assist with CPT and ICD-10 coding.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least three years of related coding or medical billing experience; CPC is preferred. You will maintain patient confidentiality, comply with regulations, and assist with AR for assigned providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum of three years related coding or medical billing experience.
• CPC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to code and post-surgery charges and hospital charges for insurance billing.
• Assist with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Maintain communication with Team Lead and Supervisor.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per policy.
• Ensure compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements.
• Complete mandated training including OSHA training and PPD placements.
• Work Accounts Receivable (AR) for assigned providers.
• Review assigned provider surgical schedules.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
