Job summary

Colorado ENT & Allergy is seeking a Financial Representative to manage accounts receivable and optimize collections for patients and insurers. The role focuses on accuracy in billing, timely follow-up, and communication with physicians regarding outstanding balances.

Responsibilities include handling incoming/outgoing mail, appealing underpayments, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and related regulations, while delivering professional service and accountability during staff meetings and

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year related experience may be acceptable.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable to meet goals set by Administrators and Board.
Follow up and appeal patient and insurance payments as necessary to optimize collections.
Maintain aging of accounts per policy; communicate with physicians about collection status.
Develop payment plans for patients as needed; provide timely responses to inquiries.
Attend seminars and stay compliant with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulations.
