Midwest ENT & Allergy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented medical billing specialist to join our business office team in Sioux Falls. This role focuses on accurate charge entry, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities include verifying hearing aid benefits, preparing patient estimates and prior authorizations, establishing payment plans within guidelines, and assisting patients and insurance carriers with billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• Prior medical billing experience preferred.
• Familiar with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate charge entry, payment posting, and account reconciliation while supporting efficient revenue cycle operations. This role will verify hearing aid benefits and prepare patient estimates and prior authorizations, establish patient payment plans within approved guidelines, and provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients and insurance carriers with billing inquiries. The ideal candidate will be familiar with CPT and ICD-10 coding, medical billing processes, and have experience with insurance companies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Prior medical billing experience and knowledge of insurance payor guidelines are preferred.

Full-time, 40 hours/week.
