Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead AR across multiple subsidiaries and business units. You will optimize invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer accounts in a high-volume, project-based environment, partnering with operations, treasury, and leadership.

The role focuses on cash flow optimization, process standardization, ERP initiatives, and acquisitions integration, requiring strong leadership, financial acumen, and systems know-how to improve DSO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years AR experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of AR operations, credit management, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day AR operations across multiple subsidiaries, branches, and business units.
• Establish departmental goals, metrics, and service-level expectations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for AR team members.
• Develop and maintain AR policies, procedures, controls, and training.
• Escalate complex billing, collection, and payment issues.
• Build relationships with operations, project managers, treasury, accounting, and leadership.
• Oversee invoicing for contract, service, and project-based work.
• Ensure invoices comply with contracts, POs, and schedules of values.
• Monitor billing activity to prevent delays and improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve billing discrepancies.
