Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative CBO to coordinate patient billing and collections across revenue cycle functions. You will verify eligibility, resolve denials, and work with payors and providers to maximize reimbursement.

The role supports a remote-friendly work arrangement for eligible states, with a typical 8:30am–5pm schedule in AZ time and exposure to systems like Cerner, Nextgen, FinThrive, and MS4.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
• Experience in patient financial services, insurance, or collections preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, denials, and refunds accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve payor denials and balance issues using payor portals and systems.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and providers to ensure correct billing and reimbursement.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and internal stakeholders.
