Job summary

Banner Health seeks a PFS Representative in Ambulatory Imaging to coordinate patient billing and collections across assigned areas. This full-time, remote role supports debugging denials, posting payments, and payor follow-up while meeting speed and accuracy targets.

You'll work with insurers to obtain payments per contracts, leverage EOB knowledge, and deliver excellent customer service to patients and providers. Training is provided; AZ hours apply during ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Must have patient financial services or insurance industry experience.
• Experience with EOBs and medical claims processing.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, denials, and payment plans accurately.
• Balance accounts and pursue payor remits and denials to maximize reimbursement.
• Research payments and denials; make appeals and corrections as needed.
• Build relationships with hospital departments and internal/external customers.
• Respond to calls to resolve billing and accounting issues; provide excellent service.
• Work to reduce Accounts Receivable and improve days/dollars metrics.
• Document data in systems and communicate with payors accurately.
• Work independently under supervision and follow defined standards.
