Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a Deduction Customer Account Representative to review, validate, document, and resolve customer payment deductions in line with policy and SOX standards.

You will work with Collections, Order Entry, Sales, Plant Operations, and Logistics to ensure accurate AR reconciliation and effective deduction management. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and adherence to compliance standards while driving process improvements within the AR

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounts receivable, deduction management, or related financial operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in APPX or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Deduction Validation & Categorization: Validate deductions, categorize as Authorized or Unauthorized, and document with proper codes and support.
• Prioritization & Pre-Processing: Triage aged deductions by value and days, ensure timely follow-up and resolve bottlenecks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with OE, COL, Sales, Plant Operations, and Logistics to resolve discrepancies and disputes.
• Reporting & Documentation: Record deduction notes and maintain SOPs; present status in reviews.
• System Navigation & Tools: Use APPX for AR reporting, notes, entries, and documentation access.
• Compliance & Approvals: Ensure SOX compliance, obtain proper approval for expenses by thresholds.
• Continuous Improvement & Success Tracking: Share resolutions, identify best practices, and participate in optimization initiatives.
