Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of collections experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic internet usage.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner and meet collections targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounts receivable functions for assigned accounts.
• Heavy phone activity to contact debtors and collect payments; negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies; update account status regularly.
• Alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts and escalate as needed.
