CFS is seeking an AR & Collections Specialist to drive cash flow and strengthen customer relationships, with a primarily remote schedule and one in-office day per month. The role offers visibility within the accounting and finance team and a competitive benefits package.

The candidate will manage AR activities, monitor aging, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Strong understanding of aging reports, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable activities and customer collections.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payment status, and account inquiries.
• Apply cash receipts and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Reconcile customer accounts and identify outstanding issues.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing and payment concerns.
• Assist with reporting, account analysis, and collection performance tracking.
• Support month-end activities related to accounts receivable.
