OWN, Inc. is an engineering firm with offices in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. We seek an Accounts Receivable & Client Accounts Specialist who will be the link between clients, Finance, and project teams to keep invoices moving to payment.

You will manage receivables, discuss invoices with clients, and resolve payment barriers while protecting client relationships. This role emphasizes initiative, ownership, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, finance, client account management, or related field.
• ERP or accounting system experience is preferred (Deltek Vantagepoint).
• Knowledge of client communications and project administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage current and past-due accounts receivable and identify payment issues.
• Build relationships with clients and understand their billing and payment processes.
• Communicate with clients about invoices, payments, and timelines; resolve issues.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and delays; ensure documentation is complete.
• Collaborate with Finance and project teams to resolve items and keep work moving.
• Take ownership of open items and follow through to resolution.
• Suggest improvements to billing processes and client experience.
• Support billing and AR activities as needed.
