FirstService Residential is hiring an Accounts Receivable Cashier in Irvine, CA. You will handle high-volume HOA payments, validate checks, and post payments in the accounting system with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Experience in accounting, banking, accounts receivable, cash handling, or transaction processing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate incoming checks for accuracy and compliance.
• Process and deposit checks using bank scanning equipment and deposit systems.
• Distribute deposited items to team members for posting and processing.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Post payments accurately within the company's accounting software.
