Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to provide temporary coverage. The role focuses on cash application and payment posting, with additional AR support and data management tasks. The assignment is ~5+ weeks with potential extension, and a 35-hour workweek, Monday–Friday.

The successful candidate will post payments, process checks and EFTs, and research remittance data, while maintaining accurate customer records and collaborating with the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable or cash applications.
• Experience with B2B customer accounts is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new accounting systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply and post customer payments.
• Process check, lockbox, and EFT activity.
• Research remittance information through portals.
• Pull, organize, and format payment data in Excel.
• Compile information on customer deductions and disputes.
• Assist with basic AR and aging activities.
• Research payment discrepancies and gather supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer account information.
• Collaborate with accounting team to complete daily cash application responsibilities.
