Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring an Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist for a full-time contract in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on billing accuracy, meter management in SAP, and customer dispute resolution while handling complex billing scenarios in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient knowledge of the online billing system using SAP.
• Proficient communication with internal and external customers via telephone or walk-in.
• Assist customers and complete work assignments with minimal oversight or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research for slow/dead meters and inactive accounts registering consumption (COMSR) and complete necessary SAP processes.
• Install, remove, or replace meters (Device Management in SAP) to address IDoc errors and other issues from meter work not processing in the system.
• Document accounts with billing inaccuracies and estimate using daily averages to adjust accounts/billing.
• Resolve customer final bill disputes by investigations involving account and premise research and public records.
• Perform research and analysis on residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers to ensure accurate billing using UIQ, EIP, SAP, MDS and WMIS.
• Obtain over-the-air meter reads for unfulfilled orders, search for non-communicating AMI meters, investigate demand fluctuations and resolve.
• Handle irate customers and escalated requests from management and participate in special projects.
